M69

The M69 grenade is made of either 2 sheet medal cups welded together for early models, however newer practice bodies are cast one piece construction. Both types thow have a hole in the bottom to allow the smoke & gasses from the cap bursting to escape. The M69 is painted blue to show practice and accepts the newer larger 5/8ths fuze.

M33

The body of the M33 is made of sheet steel. The inner surface is pre engraved to produce fragments of a relatively uniform size and weight. This grenade was designed because of its shape can be thrown much farther and accurately. The M33 however does not contain a safety clip. The body is painted olive drab with yellow band and marking.

M67

The M67 grenade is used by American forces today. And is a slightly better design than the M33 because of the newer safety clip, which clips over the safety lever. The body still has pre engraving. The body is painted olive drab with yellow band and markings, which include designation, filler, type, and lot #.
