M30

The body of the M30 practice grenade is cast iron with RFX55 casted in the side. The M30 is a practice version of the M26 fragmentation grenade.There would be 21 grains of black powder inserted in the grenade and sealed off by a plastic plug. The body is painted light blue with a brown stripe around the center.

M62

The M62 grenade is a practice version of the M61 fragmentation grenade. The body accepts the larger 5/8ths M228 fuze which also adds a safety clip. There is 37.5 grains of black powder inside. The body is painted light blue with white markings.

M26

The M26 grenade replaced the MKIIa1 during the Korean war. The body is a thin sheet steel. Contained within the outer casing is a serrated wire coil. The wire is 1/8ths in thick and notched. The grenade is painted olive drab with a yellow band around the top and yellow makings, which include designation, lot #, and date of production.

M26a1

The only changes to the M26a1 from the m26 is the wire inside; it was changed to square and notched deeper to improve the fragmentation.

M56

The M56 grenade body is the same as the m26 series grenades, but was made to accept the larger 5/8ths fuze. The grenade is still painted olive drab with a yellow band around the top and yellow markings.

M61

The M61 grenade is the same body as an M26. The grenade accepts the smaller thread fuzes. which also incorperate a safety clip. The body is painted green with a yellow stripe around the top and yellow markings.
